7 Bag Essentials I Never Leave Home Without

Have you ever wondered what someone always carries in their bag? Well, if my bag ever got lost, there are at least seven things that I honestly never leave home without!
Seriously, if you don’t see these things in my bag, you should probably take me to the doctor because I’m most likely sick!
From lip balm and scrunchies to fidgets and hand sanitizer, here are my top seven tween bag essentials that you will never catch me without.
1. Fidgets
If you really know me, you already know that I never leave the house without my fidgets! They’re always in my bag because they help keep my hands busy.
Instead of biting my nails to the bone, I just play with my fidget. My nail-biting history is… let’s just say… pretty scary.

2. Mini Mirror
I think every tween or teen should have a mini mirror in their bag! You never know when you’ll have food stuck in your teeth, messy hair, or just want to check that everything looks okay.
Mini mirrors are super helpful, don’t take up much space, and are perfect for quick beauty touch-ups when you’re out.
3. Chapstick or Lip Balm
Chapstick is basically my best friend! I always keep lip balm in my bag because dry lips can happen anytime. Sometimes, I also just want a little shine or sparkle.

4. Hand Sanitizer
Okay… don’t call me a germ freak, but hand sanitizer is a must-have! I love my Touchland because hit not only sanitizes but makes me smelling fresh with their delicious scents.
Sometimes you’re out shopping, at the park, or somewhere that doesn’t have a washroom nearby. Having hand sanitizer makes it easy to clean your hands before eating or after touching things in public.
It’s small, easy to carry, and definitely worth keeping in your everyday bag.
5. Gum or Tic Tacs
You never know when you’ll need fresh breath! Whether you’re hanging out with friends or talking to someone at school, gum or Tic Tacs can totally save the day.
I seriously love Tic Tacs, and don’t even get me started on gum! Once I start chewing it, I can’t stop!
Just make sure gum is allowed at your school before bringing it with you.
6. Mini Comb
A mini comb can literally save your life or at least your hairstyle!
It’s perfect when you need to fix your hair, smooth out some messy pieces, or quickly touch up your hairstyle. By the way, you should also check out my slick-back hair tutorial!
A mini comb is super helpful, and I honestly couldn’t thank it enough.
7. Scrunchies
Scrunchies are another one of my everyday bag must-haves. You never know when you’ll want to put your hair up, fix a ponytail, or get your hair out of your face.
They are a useful accessory especially during times when you need to add some colour to your outfit and bonus is that they are easy to keep in your bag. I usually carry more than one because scrunchies somehow always disappear!
Final Thoughts
So there you have it, my seven everyday bag essentials for tweens and teens! These are the things I never leave home without, and they make life so much easier.
